Community Fund & Transparency

A share of DBTC’s transfer-fee income goes to a public community fund for scholarships and Mbaduku Day. This page shows what has been published, and says plainly what hasn’t been published yet.

Community fund

Where fee income goes

Every DBTC transfer or trade carries a 3% fee built into the token. Part of that fee income is set aside for a public community fund, used for things members care about:

  • Scholarships for Mbaduku students.
  • Mbaduku Day support in Tsar.
  • Other community projects members vote for.

How the fund is spent is decided by community votes, one member, one vote, among verified members. Every payment from the fund will be listed here.

Growth & sustainability

Family milestones and keeping it sustainable

Family growth milestones

Shared community goals: when approved members reach each size, the Admin adds a fixed amount to this fund. Set on the Rewards page.

Approved members: 0

    Why the program stays sustainable

    • Worst-case cost per new member: $25.
    • Invite ladder bonuses are capped at $80 per inviter, for life, and only for their own direct invites.
    • No multi-level rewards: nobody earns from invites made by the people they invited, so costs can’t multiply down a chain.
    • Family milestone amounts are fixed: $425 in total if every milestone is reached.
    • Automatic pause: sign-ups close when all 50 welcome gifts are sent, and reward claims pause when the Admin sets the program to paused.
    • Maximum welcome + invite cost for the current gift budget: $1,250 worth of DBTC.

All amounts are US dollars’ worth of DBTC at the time sent, paid from the Admin’s limited budget, and may change or end.

    Gift log

    Public gift log

Every welcome gift and participation reward is listed here once sent, with the part sent on day one and the part held in the public DBTC Gifts wallet (opens in a new tab). Recipients are shown by initials only, to protect privacy; each line links to the on-chain transaction so anyone can check it.

    Burn log

    Burned DBTC

Under the gift release rule, if a member sells or transfers away the unlocked part of a gift before the release date, the part held for them is burned instead of being sent. Burned tokens are sent to a permanent burn and removed from DBTC’s total supply, so nobody can ever use them, including the Admin. Every burn is listed here.

    The 3% fee

DBTC uses the Token-2022 transfer-fee feature: 3% of every transfer or trade is withheld on-chain, so the receiver gets 97% of what was sent. Fee income is collected by the Admin, and the published share goes to the community fund.

Gifts are sized so the full amount still arrives after the fee.

    Gradual release

    • Every gift and reward is split: 20% sent on day one, 80% held in the public DBTC Gifts wallet for 6 months, then sent.
    • If the day-one part is sold or moved early, the held part is burned instead (see the burn log).
    • The total gift budget is small and capped.
    • Rewards have monthly caps per person.

Where the held part is kept:

    Liquidity

A note on the Meteora pool

DBTC’s main pool is DBTC/USDC on Meteora, and part of its liquidity is locked. Over time the Admin may add USDC to this pool from their own funds, so that swaps between members are steadier. This is optional, at the Admin’s discretion, and may stop at any time. It is not a promise, not price support, and says nothing about what DBTC’s price will do.

Figures on this page are published by the Admin and updated monthly; on-chain explorers are the final record. DBTC is a community token, not an investment. Crypto tokens are volatile. This is not financial advice; nothing here promises returns.
